ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new program called ActiveHeal EST (Engage-Sustain-Triumph) to see how it might help people who have recently been diagnosed with breast or prostate cancer. The research aims to measure how well this program can improve participants' resilience in their daily lives, their overall health and quality of life, and their psychological wellbeing. Additionally, the study will assess how acceptable and practical this program is for cancer survivors.
To participate in this trial, you need to be an adult aged between 18 and 75 years old, have been diagnosed with breast or prostate cancer within the last six months, and have a specific level of health as measured by the Karnofsky Performance Status Scale, which assesses how well you can carry out daily activities. If you join the trial, you will attend sessions at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Fayetteville, where you’ll learn about and participate in the program. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it's an opportunity to contribute to research that could benefit others in similar situations.
