ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of two different methods of anesthesia during surgery: one that uses opioids (strong pain-relieving medications) and one that does not. The goal is to see how these methods affect patients’ blood pressure and pain levels when they are given anesthesia for elective (planned) surgeries. Researchers are looking for adult patients between the ages of 18 and 75 who are generally healthy and meet specific criteria related to their physical health.
If you or a family member are considering joining this trial, you should know that it is currently recruiting participants. Eligible individuals should not have certain health issues, such as a history of severe heart problems or difficulties with their airway. Participants can expect to undergo a standard procedure for anesthesia, and their responses will be monitored closely to help understand which method may be better for patients. This study aims to improve the safety and comfort of anesthesia for future surgeries.
