ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at a condition called a cesarean scar niche, which is a small pouch-like area that can form on the front wall of the uterus after a cesarean section (C-section). The study aims to understand the tissue characteristics of these niches by examining samples after they have been repaired using a procedure called hysteroscopy. The goal is to help doctors improve their techniques and better understand how these repairs might help reduce symptoms, restore fertility, and guide follow-up care for women who have had C-sections.

To participate in this trial, women must have a history of at least one C-section and a diagnosis of a cesarean scar defect confirmed by an ultrasound, with at least one year since their last C-section. However, women with certain medical conditions—like pelvic inflammatory disease, suspected cancer, or significant heart, liver, or kidney issues—will not be eligible. Participants can expect to contribute to important research that could improve care for many women facing similar issues, and they will receive follow-up care to monitor their outcomes after the procedure.
