ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding how different tests can identify frailty in breast cancer patients. Frailty is a condition that can make it harder for people to recover from illness or treatment. The researchers are comparing several screening tools, including the FRAIL Scale and the Tilburg Frailty Index, to see which ones best predict health issues that might arise after treatment. This study is important because it aims to find the most effective way to screen for frailty in breast cancer patients, helping doctors provide better care.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 50 years old and have been diagnosed with breast cancer. You should also be able to walk on your own, even if you use a walking aid. However, if you have communication difficulties, mental health issues that affect your ability to participate, have other cancers, or are in the terminal stage of breast cancer, you won't be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo evaluations using these screening tools to help researchers gather important information about frailty and health outcomes for breast cancer patients.
