ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help middle school students who are struggling with digital addiction, which means spending too much time on devices like smartphones and computers. The study will develop and test an "addiction management model" designed specifically for 6th graders at risk of this issue. This model will include training to help students build psychological resilience, which is their ability to bounce back from challenges, along with techniques to manage their emotions better.
To participate in this trial, students need to be in the 6th grade and show a high risk of digital addiction based on a screening test. Both the student and their parent must agree to take part, and the student should be able to speak, read, and understand Turkish. There are no auditory or mental disabilities that would prevent them from joining. Participants can expect to learn valuable skills to help them manage their technology use and improve their emotional well-being during the study. This research is currently open for enrollment, so if you think your child might benefit, consider discussing it with them and their teacher.
