ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how stress urinary incontinence (a condition that causes accidental leakage of urine during activities like laughing or exercising) affects the way women walk, known as gait. By comparing the walking patterns of women with this condition to those without it, the researchers hope to learn more about how stress urinary incontinence impacts mobility. The findings from this study could help develop better treatments and rehabilitation programs to improve the quality of life for women experiencing this issue.
To participate in the trial, women between the ages of 40 and 60 who have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher and have been diagnosed with mild stress urinary incontinence can apply. It’s important that they do not have other gynecological disorders, significant medical conditions, or previous pelvic surgeries that could affect the results. Participants will need to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study. If you join, you can expect to undergo assessments that look at your walking patterns, contributing valuable information to help others in similar situations.
