ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying urinary stress incontinence (UI) and other pelvic floor issues in female trail runners. Urinary incontinence is a condition where women may unintentionally leak urine, especially during high-impact activities like running. The trial aims to understand how the unique challenges of trail running—such as uneven terrain and steep slopes—affect these conditions. While many women experience UI, it's often not discussed, and only a small percentage seek help from healthcare professionals.
To participate in this trial, you need to be a female adult runner who regularly practices trail running and lives in France or its overseas territories. However, if you are pregnant, have recently given birth, or don't speak French, you won't be eligible. Participants will complete an online questionnaire to share their experiences, helping researchers gather important information about how trail running impacts pelvic floor health. This study could help shed light on a common but often overlooked issue among women who enjoy this sport.
