ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether a deeper level of muscle relaxation during laparoscopic hysterectomy (a minimally invasive surgery to remove the uterus) can improve recovery for women. The researchers want to find out if using deep neuromuscular blockade (NMB) instead of moderate NMB leads to less pain and better overall recovery after the surgery. To do this, they will compare two groups of women: one group will have surgery with deep NMB and lower pressure in the abdomen, while the other group will have surgery with moderate NMB and standard pressure.
Women aged 18 to 75 who are scheduled for elective laparoscopic hysterectomy may be eligible to participate, as long as they are in good health according to specific criteria. Participants will be monitored for pain, recovery quality, and other factors after their surgery. This study is important because it could help improve the care and comfort of women undergoing this procedure in the future.
