ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a short mindfulness exercise can help manage pain for patients getting specific orthopedic procedures, called kyphoplasty or radiofrequency ablation, at the Tallahassee Orthopedic Center. The mindfulness intervention lasts just 7 minutes and aims to see if it can make a difference in how patients feel during and after their treatment.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old, fluent in English, and scheduled for one of the targeted procedures. Unfortunately, if you have a physical or mental condition that prevents you from giving consent, you won't be able to join. If you decide to participate, you can expect to spend a brief time practicing mindfulness before your procedure, which might help reduce your pain. This study is currently recruiting participants, so it’s a great time to consider joining if you meet the criteria!
