ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) can help people who have neck pain and headaches. Researchers want to find out if OMT can reduce muscle stiffness in the neck and jaw, improve jaw movement, affect the body's nervous system functions, and change how much pressure a person can tolerate before feeling pain. To do this, participants will have a variety of tests, including photos of their head and neck, ultrasound scans, and surveys about their symptoms.
To join the study, participants need to be between 19 and 65 years old and have experienced neck pain or headaches for more than a month. However, people with certain conditions, like previous neck surgeries, specific jaw problems, or other serious health issues, won't be eligible. The trial is currently looking for volunteers, and those who participate can expect to undergo a series of assessments to help researchers understand how OMT might benefit their condition.
