ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new way to help nursing students learn how to manage kidney damage caused by medications. The researchers want to see if a special learning system, called the Integrated Learning Support System (ILSS), can help students feel less stressed and anxious while they learn. They will compare this new system with the usual way of teaching to see which one helps students gain knowledge and skills better. The trial will involve 96 nursing students from two universities in Brazil, who will be randomly divided into two groups: one will use the new system along with traditional methods, while the other group will stick to the standard approach.
To participate in this study, students must be at least 18 years old and in the final two years of their nursing program. They also need to have internet access at home to complete online modules. Importantly, students who already have health training or don’t finish the required course work won’t be eligible. Participants can expect to learn through immersive training and will be assessed on their knowledge, skills, and stress levels throughout the trial. The goal is to see if the ILSS can improve learning outcomes and promote better patient care in the future.
