ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying different methods of monitoring blood flow in women undergoing a cesarean section. Specifically, it will compare two newer technologies, NICAP and NICCO, with a traditional method called pulse wave analysis. The goal is to see how well these methods work to track blood circulation during surgery, which is important for the health of both the mother and the baby.
To participate in this study, women aged 18 to 45 who are having their first or subsequent baby and are at least 37 weeks pregnant may be eligible. They should be scheduled for a cesarean section using spinal anesthesia and must meet certain health criteria. Participants can expect to be monitored using the different technologies during their surgery, helping researchers understand which method is more effective. The trial is not yet recruiting, so it’s still in the planning stages, but it aims to improve care for mothers during cesarean deliveries.
