ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how fear and anxiety affect patients who are about to have their wisdom teeth removed or receive jaw implants. The researchers want to compare two types of anesthesia: local anesthesia, where the area around the mouth is numbed, and general anesthesia, where the patient is put to sleep for the procedure. They believe that anxiety can slow down the healing process after surgery, so they will monitor how well each group heals after their operation.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and in good health (which means you should have a low risk for complications). If you join, you will help the researchers understand how different types of anesthesia might affect your anxiety levels and recovery. This study is currently recruiting participants, and everyone is welcome to apply. Your involvement could help improve the experience for future patients facing similar dental surgeries!
