ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at ways to help people with schizophrenia remember to take their medications regularly. Sometimes, patients forget to take their medicine, which can make it harder for them to manage their condition. In this study, researchers will provide participants with reminders based on time and events to see if this helps improve their memory and, in turn, their ability to stick to their medication schedule.
To join the study, participants need to be between 18 and 60 years old and must have a diagnosis of schizophrenia. They should also have a certain level of understanding about their condition and have completed at least 10th grade in English. Unfortunately, people with serious medical problems, substance abuse issues, or certain learning disabilities won't be able to take part. Those who join can expect to receive support through reminders and will help researchers learn more about how to improve medication adherence for individuals with schizophrenia.
