ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how virtual reality glasses might help reduce anxiety and improve treatment compliance in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. The researchers want to see if watching special videos through these glasses during treatment can make patients feel less anxious and more likely to stick to their chemotherapy schedule. The study will involve 30 patients, divided into two groups: one group will use the virtual reality glasses while receiving treatment, and the other group will not. Both groups will answer questions about their anxiety and how they cope with their illness before and after the treatment cycles.
To participate in this trial, individuals need to be over 18 years old, able to speak Turkish, and diagnosed with cancer. They should be starting their chemotherapy treatment and able to use virtual reality glasses, without any hearing or vision impairments. This study is not currently recruiting participants, but if you meet the criteria, you could help researchers understand the potential benefits of virtual reality in cancer care.
