ClinConnect Summary

The Nuestros Días ("Our Days") Study is looking to understand how different factors in daily life affect the well-being of caregivers who look after relatives with memory problems or dementia, focusing especially on those from the Hispanic and Latino community. The study aims to find out what daily challenges can increase feelings of depression and anxiety for caregivers, how these feelings change over time, and whether these changes can lead to other health issues later on.

If you're at least 18 years old, identify as Hispanic or Latino/a/x/e, and provide care for a family member with memory issues for at least 4 hours a day, you may be eligible to participate. As a participant, you would complete an initial online survey about your caregiving situation, followed by daily surveys for three weeks to share your experiences and feelings. Additionally, there will be two follow-up surveys at six and twelve months. All surveys are available in English or Spanish, depending on what you prefer. Your insights will help shed light on the important role caregivers play and how to better support them.
