ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into how core endurance, which is the strength and stability of muscles in the middle of the body, relates to how aware young basketball players are about preventing injuries. Injuries during adolescence can lead to serious long-term issues, and since young athletes are still growing, it’s important to understand how to keep them safe. By studying this connection, the researchers hope to find better ways to support athletes in avoiding injuries while they play.
To participate in this study, players need to be between the ages of 10 and 18, train at least three times a week, and have played basketball for at least a year. Those who have had major surgeries or chronic health problems in the last six months will not be eligible. Participants will likely undergo assessments to measure their core endurance and their understanding of injury prevention. This study is important because it aims to help protect young athletes from injuries, allowing them to enjoy their sports safely.
