ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how the source of sperm—whether it comes from a man's ejaculation or is collected directly from the testicles—might affect the quality of embryos in couples dealing with severe male infertility. The researchers want to compare the outcomes of a specific test called preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A), which checks for genetic abnormalities in embryos, to see if using different sperm sources leads to better results when transferring embryos that are genetically normal (euploid).

To participate in this study, men must be diagnosed with severe male infertility and have a female partner who is a normal responder to fertility treatments. The trial is currently recruiting participants and aims to gather valuable information that could help improve fertility treatments for couples facing these challenges. Participants can expect to undergo procedures related to in vitro fertilization (IVF) and may require testing to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria. It's important to note that certain conditions, like infections or previous uterine issues, may prevent some individuals from joining the trial.
