ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special program called the Motor Relearning Program (MRP) combined with aerobic exercise can help improve balance and movement in stroke patients who are in the early recovery phase, specifically those who had a stroke 1 to 5 months ago. The goal is to see if this combination can make it easier for patients to regain strength and stability in their lower limbs.
To participate in this trial, individuals need to be between 50 and 70 years old, have had an ischemic stroke (which means a blockage in the blood vessels of the brain), and be able to follow simple instructions. They should not have serious heart problems or other neurological conditions, and they should not be receiving other physical therapy at the moment. Participants can expect to engage in guided exercises designed to help them improve their balance and mobility, which can greatly enhance their daily activities and overall quality of life. The trial is currently recruiting, so it’s a great opportunity for eligible patients looking for new ways to support their recovery.
