ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two different ways of giving steroid injections to treat a condition called trigger finger, which causes pain and locking of the finger due to swelling in the tendon. Traditionally, doctors give the injection from the front or palm side of the hand, but this can be quite painful because that area is sensitive. In this study, researchers want to see if giving the injection from the back side of the hand is less painful and still effective.
To participate in the trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and diagnosed with trigger finger in any finger. If you choose to take part, you will receive one of the two types of steroid injections for your condition. The study aims to compare the pain levels of both methods and check how well the numbing medicine works in each case. The trial is open to all genders and is currently looking for participants.
