ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called the EDUVVC study, is focused on helping patients who need a special type of intravenous line called a PICC line. The goal is to teach these patients how to take care of their PICC line and understand important health information. By doing this, the researchers hope to empower patients to manage their own care better and reduce the chances of complications or risks associated with the line. The study also involves developing a mobile app to provide education and support to patients.
To participate in this study, you need to be an adult over 18 years old, require a PICC line, and have a way to communicate online or by phone. The study is currently looking for participants, and you can expect to learn valuable skills about your care and how to stay healthy while using the PICC line. Please note that some individuals, such as those who cannot understand French or do not have social security coverage in France, may not be eligible to join.
