ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the best way to relieve neck pain caused by a condition called cervical spondylosis, which affects the bones and joints in the neck. Researchers want to find out if combining two treatments—radiofrequency ablation (a procedure that uses heat to reduce pain) and a superficial cervical plexus block (an injection that numbs nerves in the neck)—provides better pain relief than just using radiofrequency ablation alone.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 30 and 70 years old and have been diagnosed with cervical facet arthropathy, a type of pain in the neck that hasn't improved with standard treatments like medication and physical therapy for at least three months. The study is currently recruiting participants, and it is open to both men and women. If you decide to join, you can expect to receive treatment and follow-up care, and the research team will monitor your pain levels to see how well the combined approach works compared to the single treatment.
