ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new type of surgery using a small robot designed to help treat conditions like lumbar spinal stenosis and lumbar disc herniation. The goal is to understand how the amount of decompression—removing pressure from the spinal nerves—affects patients one year after their surgery. By looking at data from different medical centers, researchers hope to find out the best way to perform endoscopic spine surgery, which is a minimally invasive approach.
To participate in this trial, you need to be an adult aged 18 or older, suffering from lumbar spinal stenosis or disc herniation that hasn’t improved with at least three months of conservative (non-surgical) treatment. You should be willing to undergo surgery and commit to follow-up appointments for over six months. However, if you’ve had prior lumbar surgery, have certain spinal issues, or cannot attend follow-up visits, you may not be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to receive cutting-edge care with the robot-assisted surgery and help researchers learn more about improving treatment for back conditions.
