ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how strength training can affect children’s muscles and health. Specifically, researchers want to see what happens when children aged 8 to 10 participate in resistance exercise training three times a week for eight weeks. They will measure changes in muscle strength, power, and the fat levels in their muscles to understand how exercise impacts their overall health.
To participate in this study, children must be healthy and between the ages of 8 and 10. It's important that they do not have any ongoing muscle or joint diseases, injuries, or conditions that affect how their bodies use energy. If selected, participants can expect to engage in fun and guided strength training sessions while contributing to important research that could help improve children's health in the future. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and both boys and girls are welcome to join!
