ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how often pregnant women need to be transferred between maternity units and whether these transfers could have been avoided. Specifically, it looks at cases where a woman is sent to another hospital but, in the end, the situation could have been handled at the original hospital. The goal is to better understand the circumstances that lead to these transfers and improve care for mothers and their babies.
To participate in this study, a woman must be pregnant, at least 18 years old, and receiving care at one of the hospitals involved in the trial. If she is transferred to another hospital, either because it was decided or because it didn't happen, she can still be included. Participants can expect to share their experiences during the transfer process, which will help researchers gather important information. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it involves eight maternity units in the Lorraine and Champagne-Ardenne regions.
