ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different types of physical therapy to help people with a condition called thoracic kyphosis, which causes an excessive curve in the upper back. The researchers want to find out whether "trunk extensor endurance training," which strengthens the muscles in the back, or "scapular mobilization," which focuses on moving the shoulder blades, is more effective in reducing pain and improving posture and shoulder movement.
To participate in this trial, you need to be between 20 and 40 years old and have a noticeable curve in your upper back, along with some level of back pain. However, individuals with certain medical conditions, previous injuries, or specific structural issues in the spine are not eligible. If you qualify and decide to join, you can expect to participate in exercises designed to improve your back strength and mobility, and help reduce your pain. This trial is currently looking for participants, and your involvement could contribute to important findings that help others with similar conditions.
