ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new treatment for androgenetic alopecia, which is a common type of hair loss that affects both men and women. The treatment involves using tiny particles called exosomes, derived from stem cells, and applying them to the scalp through a technique called microneedling. The main goal of the study is to see if this method can help improve hair growth in people experiencing this type of hair loss.
To participate in the trial, you need to be between 65 and 74 years old and have been diagnosed with androgenetic alopecia. However, you cannot have used any hair loss treatments in the last six months, nor have any skin issues on your scalp like open wounds or certain skin conditions. Additionally, if you’ve recently undergone chemotherapy or have a weakened immune system, you may not be eligible. If you join the study, you will be among the first to try this innovative treatment and contribute to important research that could help others facing similar challenges with hair loss.
