ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how taking a supplement called creatine monohydrate may help improve physical performance and body composition in people who follow a vegan diet. The study will last for four weeks and aims to see if creatine can increase muscle creatine levels and enhance overall physical abilities.
To participate, individuals need to be between 18 and 40 years old, have been on a vegan diet for at least six months, and should be physically active according to health guidelines. They should also have a healthy body weight and not smoke or drink much alcohol. However, those with certain chronic health issues or previous creatine use won't be eligible. Participants can expect to take the supplement and undergo various tests to measure changes in their body and performance during the study. This research could provide valuable insights into how vegans can support their physical fitness.
