ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring whether participating in a positive psychology program can help improve emotional well-being. The researchers want to see if engaging in different activities designed to boost positivity can make people feel happier and healthier. They will also look at how these activities might affect physical health and what behaviors contribute to these improvements over time. The study will involve a diverse group of participants, which helps ensure that the findings are applicable to many different people.
To participate in this trial, you should be between the ages of 65 and 74, and you need to be fluent in English. Unfortunately, if you have major depression, you won't be eligible to join. Participants will visit the research lab three times to fill out surveys and undergo physical assessments. Additionally, for ten weeks, they'll complete short surveys three times a day and engage in specific activities each week for a month. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to gather valuable insights into how positive psychology can enhance well-being in older adults.
