ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding what causes falls in patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Researchers want to identify the different factors that may lead to these falls, which can be a serious concern for individuals with COPD. The study is currently not yet recruiting participants, but when it begins, it will look for adults aged 45 to 80 who are willing to take part and are diagnosed with COPD at various stages. To be eligible, participants should have been stable for the past month and be able to read and understand the study information.
If you decide to participate, you will help researchers gather important information that could improve safety and quality of life for people with COPD. It's important to note that individuals with certain medical conditions, like lung cancer or heart problems, or those who use long-term oxygen therapy, will not be eligible for this study. By joining, you could contribute to better understanding and prevention of falls among those with COPD, helping to enhance care for future patients.
