ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at a new way to measure the shape and size of a woman's pelvis using MRI instead of the traditional method, which involves a CT scan. The goal is to see if MRI can provide the same information without exposing patients to radiation, which can be harmful. This study is especially important for pregnant women who have had a cesarean section (C-section) and are considering another pregnancy, as knowing the pelvic measurements can help doctors plan for a safe delivery.

To be eligible for the study, women must be between 33 to 41 weeks pregnant and have had a previous C-section for which their doctor wants to conduct a pelvic measurement. Participants will undergo an MRI, which is a safe imaging technique that uses magnets and radio waves, rather than radiation. It’s important to know that not everyone can participate; for example, women with certain medical implants or those who feel very anxious in small spaces may not be able to join. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you or someone you know fits the criteria, it could be a great opportunity to contribute to important research while avoiding unnecessary radiation.
