ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how taking creatine supplements might help improve exercise performance at high altitudes, which can be challenging for many people. Creatine is a substance that has been shown to boost physical performance at sea level, but researchers want to see if the same benefits apply when exercising in conditions that simulate being at a higher elevation, where there is less oxygen.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 18 and 40 years old and active, meaning you engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise each week. Unfortunately, if you are pregnant, have recently taken creatine, or have allergies to supplements, you won't be eligible to join. If you decide to participate, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about your exercise performance and how creatine might help in different environments. The trial is currently recruiting participants, so it's a chance to be part of important research in sports science!
