ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on improving menstrual health education for adolescent girls who are visually impaired. The researchers want to understand how effective two different types of education—face-to-face sessions and online training—are in helping these girls manage their menstrual health. The study will look at how these educational methods affect their feelings about menstruation, any symptoms they experience, and their levels of anxiety related to menstruation.
To participate, girls need to be between the ages of 11 and 19, have at least 60% vision loss, and be able to read and write. Those joining the face-to-face sessions will attend in person, while those opting for the web-based training will need access to a computer or smartphone that works with screen reader programs and has internet. It’s important to note that participants must attend the training consistently for at least one week to be included in the study. This trial aims to provide valuable information that could help improve menstrual health education for visually impaired young women.
