ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new approach called biofeedback gait training to help improve walking ability in people who have had a stroke. After a stroke, many individuals experience difficulties with walking, including trouble with speed and balance. The goal of this study is to see if providing real-time feedback about walking can help improve these issues, making it easier for people to walk more safely and confidently.

To participate in this trial, individuals must have had their first stroke at least six months ago and be able to walk with some assistance. They should also have a certain level of thinking ability and be able to move their affected leg to a degree that allows for training. However, those with severe muscle stiffness, significant other health problems, or other neurological conditions will not be eligible. Participants can expect to be involved in training sessions where they receive immediate feedback on their walking to help improve their movements over time. This study is currently looking for volunteers of all genders aged between 18 and 80 who meet the criteria.
