ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different treatments for nosebleeds, also known as epistaxis. The goal is to compare how well tranexamic acid (a medication that helps stop bleeding) works versus a product called Ankaferd, which is a blood-stopping treatment. Both treatments will be given to patients who have had a nosebleed that doesn't stop after trying to hold pressure on their nose for 10 minutes.
To be eligible for this trial, patients must be over 18 years old and have a nosebleed that is not caused by an injury. However, certain individuals cannot participate, such as those who have unstable blood pressure, allergies to either treatment, known bleeding disorders, or are taking blood-thinning medications. The trial has not yet started recruiting participants, but if you join, you will receive one of the two treatments and be monitored to see which one works better in stopping the bleeding.
