ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on finding the best time interval between consecutive cesarean sections to help improve outcomes for both mothers and their babies. Specifically, the study wants to learn how different time gaps—ranging from less than a year to more than four years—between cesarean deliveries affect complications during surgery, the need for blood transfusions, and bleeding issues. It will also look at how these intervals influence the health of newborns.
Women who may be eligible to participate must be between 20 and 40 years old, in their third trimester of pregnancy (at least 37 weeks along), and have had at least one previous cesarean section. The trial is recruiting participants who plan to have another elective cesarean section. If you join the study, you will be placed in one of five groups based on how long it has been since your last cesarean, and your health outcomes will be monitored during the procedure. This research aims to provide important insights for future pregnancies and cesarean deliveries.
