ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how heart failure can affect liver function in patients. Specifically, it aims to understand the changes in liver tests and figure out what heart-related and other health issues might be contributing to these liver problems in people who are experiencing acute heart failure (AHF).
To participate in this study, you need to be 18 years or older and currently dealing with acute heart failure. However, if you have congenital heart disease or any liver diseases, you won't be eligible to join. While the study is not yet recruiting participants, those who do take part can expect to undergo tests that assess their liver function along with their heart health. This research is important because it may help doctors better understand the relationship between heart and liver problems, ultimately improving care for patients with these conditions.
