ClinConnect Summary

The SWIFT-ID-101 trial is a study designed to find out if people are eligible to join future clinical trials that focus on diagnosing, treating, or preventing infectious diseases, including HIV and other infections. If you decide to participate, a doctor will first explain the study and get your consent to join. You’ll then answer questions about your health history, any current symptoms, and undergo some basic health checks, like measuring your vital signs and possibly having blood drawn. This information will help the researchers determine if you qualify for upcoming trials.

To be eligible, you need to be at least 18 years old and able to provide consent. However, if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have certain medical conditions that could affect your safety, you may not be able to join. The study is currently recruiting participants, and if you’re interested and qualify, the doctor will also discuss any requirements for contraception before you can participate in future trials.
