ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) can help speed up recovery after surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), which is important for knee stability. The goal is to see if this treatment can improve healing and get patients back to their normal activities more quickly. The trial is currently looking for participants who are between 18 and 45 years old and have had an ACL tear that requires reconstruction.
If you choose to participate, you'll need to be able to attend regular clinic visits and follow the study guidelines. However, this trial isn't for everyone. For instance, if you have certain medical conditions, like asthma or a history of epilepsy, or if you've had previous knee surgery, you may not be eligible. Participants can expect to be part of a study that could potentially make a difference in how quickly patients recover after ACL surgery, but it's important to discuss any concerns with your doctor before signing up.
