ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on making a questionnaire called the Prosthesis Evaluation Questionnaire (PEQ) available in Dutch. This questionnaire helps researchers understand how well adults with a lower limb prosthesis are doing in terms of their quality of life. The study has two main parts: first, translating the PEQ into Dutch, and second, testing it to ensure it's accurate and reliable. To do this, the researchers are looking to include 84 participants who will fill out the questionnaire three times over a period of three months.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be 18 years or older and have had a unilateral (one-sided) lower limb amputation at or above the ankle. It's important that participants can speak and understand Dutch. Unfortunately, children and those with both legs or foot amputations cannot take part in this trial. If you join the study, you will help ensure that the Dutch version of the PEQ is effective for future use, ultimately benefiting others in similar situations.
