ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new method to help doctors diagnose lung cancer more quickly and accurately during surgery. The researchers are developing a process that uses advanced technology to stain lung tissue samples right after they are removed from the body. This will allow doctors to see the cancer more clearly and make better decisions about how much tissue to remove while keeping as much healthy tissue as possible. The goal is to improve the quality of care for patients with lung cancer.
To participate in this trial, you need to be an adult aged 20 or older and have been diagnosed with lung cancer or lung tumors that require surgery. The study plans to include 300 patients. If you join, you can expect to have your lung tissue analyzed using this new technology during your surgery, which may help doctors provide a more accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. However, if you are unable to give consent or if your condition does not allow for a clear diagnosis, you may not be eligible for this study.
