ClinConnect Summary
The iCOSMO study is looking at a new way to help people who have had a stroke improve their arm and hand function. This research combines activities that focus on feeling, movement, and thinking to see if it can help people regain better use of their upper limbs. The trial is currently recruiting participants who are at least 18 years old, have been diagnosed with a stroke for more than six months, and experience some difficulties with movement or feeling in their arms or hands.
If you or a loved one is interested, it’s important to know that participants will be involved in exercises designed to enhance their ability to use their arms and hands. However, individuals with a history of other brain issues, upper limb problems from conditions other than a stroke, or those who cannot follow instructions may not be eligible for this study. This trial is a great opportunity for those looking to improve their daily functioning after a stroke, and it aims to provide valuable insights into rehabilitation methods.
