ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into how certain nursing interventions can help colorectal cancer patients who are undergoing chemotherapy. The focus is on three common issues these patients face: fatigue (extreme tiredness), peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage that can cause pain or numbness), and anxiety. By using a specific model of care, the study aims to see if these nursing approaches can improve the overall well-being of patients receiving chemotherapy.
To participate in this study, individuals must be between the ages of 18 and 75, newly diagnosed with stage II or III colorectal cancer, and planning to start a specific chemotherapy treatment called FOLFOX. They should also be able to use a smartphone and speak and understand Turkish. However, those with certain health conditions like diabetes, kidney failure, or ongoing psychiatric treatment will not be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect support from nursing staff focused on helping you manage your symptoms during treatment and participate in an important effort to improve cancer care.
