ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how two different techniques, reflexology and acupressure, can help with sleep problems and hot flashes in postmenopausal women. Hot flashes are a common and often uncomfortable symptom experienced by many women during menopause, affecting about 70% of them. The study aims to find out if these alternative treatments can improve sleep quality and reduce the intensity of hot flashes, ultimately helping women feel better in their daily lives.
To participate, women must be between the ages of 45 and 55 and experiencing moderate to severe hot flashes and sleep disturbances. They should not be taking certain medications or treatments that could affect their sleep or have any serious emotional or mental health issues. If eligible, participants can expect to try either reflexology or acupressure and share their experiences, contributing to valuable research that may lead to better approaches for managing menopause symptoms.
