ClinConnect Summary

The MBC Physical Activity Study is a clinical trial that looks at how a customized exercise program can help women with metastatic breast cancer—meaning the cancer has spread to other parts of the body. The goal is to see if this tailored physical activity can improve patients' overall fitness, quality of life, and reduce feelings of fatigue. The program is designed by a qualified cancer exercise specialist and provides individual assessments to ensure that each participant receives the right level of exercise that suits their abilities.

To be eligible for this study, participants must be female, at least 18 years old, and diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer within the last five years. They should have a performance status that allows them to engage in some physical activity and should not be currently active at recommended levels. Participants will need access to a smart device and Wi-Fi to join the virtual exercise sessions. Throughout the study, participants can expect support and guidance in following their personalized exercise plans, all while being closely monitored to ensure their safety and comfort.
