ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a type of therapy called action observation therapy to see how effective it is in helping stroke patients recover. The main question researchers want to answer is whether this therapy, which involves watching and then doing exercises, is better than traditional exercise methods for rehabilitation. Participants will be divided into two groups: one will do 24 sessions of action observation exercises, while the other group will follow standard exercise routines.

To join this trial, candidates need to be at least 18 years old, have had a stroke more than six months ago, and be able to stand and walk independently (with or without a walking aid). However, those with other serious health issues, communication difficulties, or who are 85 years or older are not eligible. If you participate, you can expect to engage in a structured exercise program that may help improve your recovery from stroke. The trial is currently looking for volunteers, and it’s an opportunity to help researchers learn more about the best ways to support stroke rehabilitation.
