ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how effective a video-based educational session is in helping people understand and become more interested in cancer clinical trials. Specifically, it focuses on individuals with certain types of blood cancers and solid tumors in the Detroit area. By learning more about what people know and think about clinical trials through this educational activity, researchers hope to improve participation in these important studies that can lead to better cancer treatments.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be 21 years old or older and can be identified through the Karmanos Cancer Institute's treatment center or community events sponsored by KCI. If you decide to participate, you'll watch an informative video and then share your thoughts and feelings about clinical trials. There are no specific exclusions based on health conditions, so many individuals may have the chance to take part. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and your involvement could help shape the future of cancer care.
