ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how levels of triglycerides (a type of fat in the blood) after meals might affect the development of coronary atherosclerosis, which is a condition where arteries become narrowed due to plaque buildup. This study is taking place at Sohag University Hospital and aims to understand if high levels of triglycerides could be a risk factor for coronary artery disease, especially in non-diabetic individuals. The hope is that by learning more about this connection, we can find better ways to prevent or treat heart disease.
To participate in this trial, individuals must have been diagnosed with coronary artery disease through tests like coronary angiography, and they should be between the ages of 18 and 75. However, people with conditions such as liver or kidney disease, thyroid problems, or diabetes will not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo various tests and evaluations to monitor your health and the impact of triglyceride levels on your heart. This research could help improve our understanding of heart disease and lead to better treatment options in the future.
