ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how "Sprint Interval Training," a type of exercise that involves short bursts of intense activity followed by rest or lighter exercise, can improve the running performance, speed, and ability to change direction in field hockey players. This training method has been shown to help athletes perform better, and the researchers want to see how it specifically affects players in this sport.
To participate in the study, individuals need to be between 18 and 30 years old, both male and female, and should have been playing field hockey for at least two years while training moderately (around three hours a week). Participants will undergo a series of exercises as part of the training program and will be monitored for their progress. It's important to note that those with certain health conditions, like heart problems or severe respiratory issues, or any ongoing injuries, will not be eligible to join. This study not only aims to enhance training methods for field hockey players but also seeks to provide valuable insights into improving athletic performance.
