ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how prenatal yoga-assisted birth preparation training can help reduce fear of childbirth and improve self-confidence in expecting mothers. Many women experience varying levels of fear regarding childbirth, which can affect their emotional well-being and lead to complications during delivery. The study aims to see if practicing yoga during pregnancy can help women feel more prepared and less anxious about giving birth.
To participate in this trial, women must be first-time mothers (primiparous), aged between 18 and 35, and in their 24th to 32nd week of a healthy single pregnancy. They should not have any psychiatric diagnoses or be currently practicing other relaxation methods like yoga or meditation. Participants will attend online sessions where they can learn yoga techniques aimed at promoting relaxation and confidence. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it highlights an important approach to addressing childbirth fears, which is a significant concern for many women.
